Welcome to Online Celtic Coinage (OCC)
OCC is a proof-of-concept prototype for an online virtual union catalogue of pre-Roman Iron Age ("Celtic") coinages.
Currently, the OCC web portal presents the classifications of the monnaies à la croix published by Eneko Hiriart in: Catalogue des monnaies celtiques. 2. Les monnaies à la croix (Paris 2017)
and of the rainbow cups (Regenbogenschüsselchen) by Hans-Jörg Kellner in: Die Fundmünzen von Manching und die keltischen Fundmünzen aus Südbayern: Ausgrabungen in Manching 12 (Stuttgart 1990).
We are also adding the pre-Roman Iron Age coinage of Hessen (Germany) and the Middle and Lower Rhine.
The IDs for the coin types are temporary !!!
