About OCC
Online Celtic Coinage (OCC) follows the paradigm of linked open data of portals such as Online Coins of the Roman Empire (OCRE), and employs the Cultural Heritage Management System Dédalo that powers the prize-winning portal Moneda Iberica.
Initially developed within the scope of the BMBF project “ClaReNet”, OCC is also being used as the repository and online publication system of the DFG project DeReNum.
OCC is being further developed by a consortium based on the Iron Age Working Group of Nomisma.org.
At present OCC presents the classifications of the monnaies à la croix published by Eneko Hiriart, Catalogue des monnaies celtiques. 2. Les monnaies à la croix (Paris 2017)
and of the rainbow cups (Regenbogenschüsselchen) by Hans-Jörg Kellner, Die Fundmünzen von Manching und die keltischen Fundmünzen aus Südbayern: Ausgrabungen in Manching 12 (Stuttgart 1990).
